A Legacy of Community
In 1997, the Davison community came together and built an incredible gift: the Davison Playscape at Jack N. Abernathy Regional Park. With over 2,000 volunteers contributing their time, skills, and hearts, this wooden playground became a cherished gathering place for families.
For 25+ years, it has been the centerpiece of the park—a testament to what communities can achieve when they work together. But playgrounds need to evolve, and after decades of faithful service, it's time to build something new.
This is our moment to continue that legacy. We're raising funds to replace the playscape with a modern, inclusive playground that welcomes every child—regardless of ability. A destination playground that will serve our community for generations to come.
